Das „Berghotel Wieshof“, wie es früher genannt wurde, wurde am 13.05.1977 von Margot Busch und ihrem Mann Rainer, einem Schwaben, eröffnet. Seinen Namen verdankt der Wieshof seiner besonderen Lage: Er wurde auf einer weitläufigen Wiese erbaut und bietet einen atemberaubenden Panoramablick auf die umliegende Berglandschaft.
